Description

If they are on this list, it does NOT mean they are bad. Just means they are perceived to be better than they actually are in the eyes of many. Some teams don't really have anyone who's super overrated so if you see something you disagree with don't get all mad about it, the team probably had no one really deserving of being here.

Maybe in recent years Doughty has been overrated but now everybody says he sucks. I don't think he suck he's probably underrated right now at least according to the view of people on CapFriendly

Because everyone raves about his leadership. I think he is a terrible leader. Has not changed the teams attitude or effort AT ALL since he came two season ago. I debated putting Nylander but settled on JT. Like the description says, players being on this list does not mean they are bad at hockey.

Yeah. Anytime someone talks about JT they talk about his leadership. Which is trash. He's a good player, but not as good as most Leaf fans think, nor as valuable as most think. Therefor overrated. I also could have picked any one of the Leafs prospects, the fanbase overrates every single one of those.

Mcavoy is absolutely not the most overrated on the Bruins. Could list 15 guys ahead of him. People dont realize how important he is to the team,

If he puts over 20 goals and 45 pts for the next 5 years while playing physical and being an important guy in the locker room, he wont look like hes overpaid. Plus, he just turned 28...
