Sakic didnt trade for and sign toews for a 56gm season and playoffs just to lose him to seattle IMO..

Same with tanev in calgary

Not sure about the Ave's but Calgary has 4 Dmen that they have to protect, IMO, I would rather Tanev leave than the others. This is one were Seattle makes their deals like VGK did

Barring any trades, I think Ottawa will have younger more intriguing players that Seattle will have to pick from. Currently, 3 of Abramov, Chlapik, Tierney, Balcers will be available. And 3 of Murray, Daccord, Hogberg or Gustavsson in goal. I think Seattle will have a tough decision to make. Potential or proven (Semi proven in most cases haha).

I can see them letting Giordano go, hes getting older and his deal is almost up

Hes 38 during the expansion draft.. iginla left in free agency.

Calgary is reportedly looking to shake up if they underperform

you can bet money the penguins pick is not Blueger. They might get ZAR. I don't think seattle will want either to be honest. Not that they aren't decent bottom 6 players but that's all they are.
They will take Matheson if he plays well, because he'll probably be one of the better defensemen available.
