Imagine putting yourself in a situation where you have to nickel and dime with Dahlin, Jokiharju, McCabe, Ullmark, and Reinhart, and were unable to even make a a reasonable offer to keep Hall, all because you really wanted to add a $3.4 mil 4th line winger...

You'd be insane to take him on. He's breaking down fast, on the wrong side of 30, small and costs 3.5m on the cap. I wouldn't be surprised if he was out of the league before that contract is up.
