If you put Dermott on the taxi squad, he will need to pass through waivers. I can't see that happening, he'll get claimed. Sandin is waivers exempt and it's better for him to be playing in the AHL rather that the seventh guy in the NHL.

I would interchange with Dermott and Lehtonen. I know he has the hype as the "Finnish Bobby Orr", but we don't know anything about him or the way he play's in the NHL level. He can be worse than Marincin

Better idea.. Robertson doesn't make the team like he shouldn't anyways. Send him to the taxi squad until the OHL starts. Vesey takes his spot. Dermott gets Sandin's spot or they lose him nothing.. & this proper asset management 🤷🏻‍♂️
