Going with Right - were betting on one goalie whos future is completely uncertain and another whos never played in the NHL (but a safer bet):

Matthews is close enough to Mac and Mc to keep up slightly and Tkachuk is a solid winger. They have a "proven" goalie whos got as much potential as the other two.

Right.

Matthews has been better than Mackinnon at every age (47 goals, 80 points in 70 games for Matthews in his 4th year, 53 points in 82 games for Mackinnon in his 4th year). Right now Mack is better, not arguing that, but the trajectory that Matthews has been on throughout his career so far would suggest a better future. Even if things remain the same, Matthews can go shot for shot with Mc or Mack.

Tkachuk is the best winger listed there, not too much to argue.

Makar I think is a bit worse defensively than Heiskanen, but also outproduces Heiskanen (AND he was a rookie). I think better defence will come with more experience. Long term its probably a draw honestly.

Sheshterkin has pretty much as big a ceiling as anyone here (Askarovs maybe a bit higher) and is the most proven goalie of the three. I'll take the right.
