I mean the Leafs would take this easily, but I just don't see the reason Detroit would. I get they need a goalie, but Freddy is a bit older than what I think they are after. That pick could end up being first overall.

Yzerman would just hang up the phone. Red Wings are a draft lottery team and Anderson is a UFA so not even a realistic trade

Wait a Red Wings fan posted this? I thought this was a Maple Leafs troll post. Sorry but this just screws our entire rebuild. Andersen wasn't so great last year and he'll leave after this season. This makes literally no sense. Our goalie tandem right now with Greiss and Bernier is great for right now.

Yeah the Wings would never do this this one as the price is a bit steep for a goalie his age given how many goalies were on the market this year and they didn't sign any of them
