This seems like an obvious signing after the injury to Girgensons, smart move by BUF.

Well, they didn't have a choice with Girgensons done for the year. Sheahan really picked the right team to try out with!

I really liked him had great chemistry with Josh Archibald and was good on the penalty kill ( which was second in the league ) but the 3rd line centre stop was upgraded with Kyle Turris

It's been 10 years so yes it is meaningless after 10 years. After 3-4 years and he's putting up 36 points as a 23 year old then you aren't saying anything about him being a bust.

I did when the talk about the Pens going for him started.

However, 36 points doesn't negate my original post.

1st round pick still means something when you are 22-23 years old. At this point in his career it means nothing.
