    Yeah this would be reallllly nice. Don't see why any GM would exchange a 3 year overpay for a 1 year overpay though, realistically. The 5th pick would just not move the needle.

    Hawks would say no. They want to pursue their 3 AHL goalies and see what they have plus they’re rebuilding so they wouldn’t be giving away a second round pick. I agree Raanta is an upgrade but not an upgrade I believe they’re looking to make. He also didn’t leave on the best of terms.

    He was the back up in 14-15 and when the playoffs came he was passed up on the depth chart by Scott Darling and he got super pissed and said he hoped they lose so he can go home. Then when they won the cup they didn’t engrave his name on it because he only played like a dozen games and none in SCF.
