Too much coming from Winnipeg. Take out Roslovic and the second and Winnipeg would talk.

Regardless of fair trade value or not - there is zero chance the Canes (or any team for that matter) give up substantial roster players for two RFA negotiations. In your scenario, Laine and JR play out this year in WPG, then are moved in the off-season? I see that as far less likely than just moving them now.

Carolina is balking at the price for Laine being Necas and Pesce. I think adding Roslovic to get Carolina to bite is fine but the 2nd is too much. Laine and Roslo for Necas and Pesce is more than fair imo.

Yeah, I can see doing it if you just want to get a trade done. But value wise, Roslovic and the second aren't needed. I'd rather the Jets hold firm, they still have 2 more years before they need to worry.

I’d agree. Jets shouldn’t bend when giving up the best asset.
