Really does suck - the guys career cut short due to things out of control. Great player who deserved to play longer and earn more. Vertigo and eye issues now with whatever he’s dealing with. Hope he finds peace soon.

Teams will most likely wait to see what Arizona does with Hill before they take Raanta.

One of the most underrated G in the past decade. Had a great career. Now, let's see what NJ do for their backup.

I know, but imo the Caps should play their internal options Copley and Vanecek over Anderson. I get that Anderson brings a veteran aspect, but gotta play the young guys at some point.

That's a big blow to the Devils plans, too bad, best of luck to Crawford in his post hockey life.

I don't think so. This looks like a Matt Niskanen scenario where he walks out of his contract.

Given that Hill wouldn't pass through waivers, there really isn't a better opportunity for Arizona to recoup some draft picks and shed money for upper management here.

The Coyotes probably wouldn't get fair value in a Raanta trade given the Hill situation, but now Raanta might be the best available option for the Devils. Could be something here around that NYI 2nd and Arizona's 3rd.

One of the most underrated and greatest goalies of his time posting a .918 career SV %; not many goalies do that in the NHL at the end of their careers. He ties for #10 on the all-time ranking list with that save percentage

Much better waiver options then Lindgren will be coming Aaron Dell (TOR), Adin Hill (ARI) and Copley (WSH)

He lead the entire NHL in high danger situations just last year too.
