Do we know yet how NJ is going to handle Crawford’s contract? Does it simply go away? Cap recapture? Any penalties? Or will they simply list him as injured for 2 years and LTIR him?

pretty sure they are stuck with it, as he signed his contract over the age of 35...

Gonna be interesting to see what TF decides to do with Palms. If the Devils are out of playoff contention at the deadline, does he sell? I think if the Devils can get a 1st + a nice prospect they will trade him.

Its completely off the books for them. In the new CBA they amended the 35+ contract rule and since the contract is backloaded and Crawford had no signing bonus in year 2, the Devils are completely off the hook
