Bure and no Bob Gainey crazy According to Brett Hull the top defensive forward he ever faced with Coach Gainey And he’s already been retired 15 years by that point

I think he’s a better fit than stevens honestly. Stevens spent the first half of his career as a more offensive d man.

Also, not to sound bruins centric, but theres a guy thats tied for the most selke trophies that isn’t on here.

In order, correct, and then incorrect. He was good, but stevens only enters into the conversation of this team a couple years into his devils career.

An argument can be made that chara was the best defensive d man in NHL history.

You’re really telling me if he hadn’t been a Bruin for a decade plus we’d be having the same conversation please come on man I’m not disrespecting Charlie you’re disrespecting Stevens Inn this I think it was a great player he was just earlier in his career was in the defense of force he became same thing with Steven’s I think because he played so long Boston you over Ray Chara a little bit because you liked him so much and he was there for your team and saw him so much you didn’t watch nearly as much as of Scott Stevens when he played in Washington and if you tell me you did I won’t believe you

The ACGM is the best all time defensive team. Chara is one of the greatest defensive d men the league has ever seen.
