Columbus and Buffalo have no reason to agree to deals n2 and n3.

No, No NOOOOOO! You don't trade you best prospect, a goal per game ohler, for a 36 year old 2-3 line rental centre.

Other 2 are good though.

Buffalo would definitely accept that 2nd trade as long as they aren't in a playoff spot.

These are deadline trades, they're great for the Sabres if they're missing the playoffs.

Gee, doesn't even help the Leafs much this season and sure ruins the future
So the Leafs give up a top 4, 20 minute Dman in Holl, and 17 minute Dermot just to get Savard
Staal is nice but really with Thornton, Spezza, he isn't that needed. Kerfoot for Staal...that's an OK tradeoff
PLD for Nylander....that's a fair tradeoff
But for half a year for Hall (whose play in the past two years hasn't been great) in effect you giving two first rounders and Robertson.....more than terrible for the Leafs
