Price I forgot about. And sure currently those players are worth it currently(not Byron because he's rarely in the lineup and y'all have possibly some of the best wing depth in the league) but Weber isn't going to age well, sadly. I do think the trade doesn't make too much sense for the habs (tho the value is fair just not the situation) because of the mass amounts of re-signing they have to do this offseason

Price is arguable because he's wildly inconsistent so you don't know what you are getting, but Byron is always in the line up (unless he's injured) and while he does play in the bottom 6, he gets 1st line PK time and can also score 15-20 goals. While it's likely not an ideal contract for a playoff contending team, he's definitely worth his value. Look up his advanced stats and you will see what I'm talking about. He was injured last year, so that's why people are saying he's overpaid.

People have been saying Weber will regress for 4 years now and we aren't seeing many signs of it and when he actually does regress, He's a good contract for a budget team because he's only owed 6 million for this year and next, then 3 million for 2022-2023 and then 1 million for 2023-2026, so it's a good contract to meet the salary floor, if he retires Nashville is the only one who has to face recapture penalties.

Drouin isn't a complete disaster defensively. He's not good, but like I said, he's not here for his defense.

Again I respectfully disagree that Drouin isn’t a complete defensive disaster

I would honestly be very surprised if donato is in the NHL next year. I’ll be even more surprised if Seattle picks up burns.

We get it, Donato is literal trash and should be in the ECHL. Not sure why you insist on stating this every single Sharks post. The message has been recieved.

No but input other than calling one single guy a garbage hockey player every post would be welcome.

Maybe you should have finished reading my post.

It’s a real shame you don’t like my opinion. Ignore button is over there.

Am I wrong that nearly if not every Sharks post you’re in the comments saying Donato is trash?

Byron has no place on the team, other than the fourth line (product of the wing depth) and his scoring is waster there. If I was the habs, I'd roll:
    Tatar Suzuki Gally
    Drouin Danault Anderson
    Toffoli KK Armia
    Byron Poehling? Perry
wasted Byron. Maybe next year when a whole bunch of forwards re-sign his role increases, but he restricts them from signing those players.

I think Realistically Byron can play any of the 4th line spots or 3RW. We are also bound to have injuries and Byron is the perfect guy to have because he can play anywhere.
