Lightning say not a chance. We’re making another cup run and keeping the best 3rd line in Hockey together for it.
Please seriously give me one rational explanation why the lightning would make this trade when they are poised to make another cup run?
This trade matter fact many of these trades look like you looked at them from the kings Standpoint and only the king standpoint

That's a lot for the Kings to give up, just to rid themselves of Doughty at 50% retention.
Tell us, what is NTC Doughty's and Brown's motivation to leave their California homes for not and good and lousy teams.

I hope you realize the Kings have the best prospect pool in the entire NHL and I traded almost all prospects except Byfield. I appreciate the comment, I do agree with you the Blake Coleman trade would most likely never happen. That being said I traded basically the whole team before I traded for Coleman so give me some slack.

It is a lot but drew doughty is so insanely horrible I did what I could to get him out of here.
