With Rossi and Boldy coming in the near future, I don't see this happening.

See this trade is awful compared to what some bigger market teams could offer

Add on Beckman to the deal and I think they might consider it.

Or just the fact they're larger market teams, which supposedly is part of his issue in Columbus. No one ever left Columbus for the bright shiny lights of St. Paul.

I get that PLD has exactly zero input in the trade, but any GM acquiring him in a comparable market would be foolish to not find out if PLD would be happy playing on their team.

Because he does not want to play for a small market so yeah sure the wild could trade for him but it’s going to cost more than this and he’s not going g to be happy and will end up requesting a trade again

How are you defining big market vs small market?

Ok even if he is ok with going to Minnesota this is a terrible offer the only decent forward they could send back would be fiala or kaprizov both I would think the wild would rather keep

So we can agree that Minnesota is a bigger hockey market than Los Angeles then?

Just a heads up, Boldy isn't a center. BC hasn't been playing him there and the Wild's player development staff has directly said in interviews that they see him as a wing moving forward.

Yet Minnesota still had higher average attendance last decade, without ever making it past the second round.

Ok I get Minnesota is your favorite team but you don’t have what it takes to get pld so either way it doesn’t really matter

What’s the superior rangers offer? Also I did say wild need to probably add a bit. Keep in mind I’m trying something other than monahan or laine for Dubois. It’s the fact you seem to think jackets would take a lesser offer from the rangers than say a wild based on market size that is my main point of contention
