This doesn't get it done for Winnipeg. It would have to be another high end player coming back in my opinion...quality or quantity here.

Palms has a MNTC- 8 teams on his list. It is said to be all Canadian teams +
Will have to be a better bunch of assets for sure. Maybe some of the stuff they just got for Hall/Vatanen/Coleman trades. I woudl not include the '21 pick that could be top 3 right now and the D man we need is likely to be there. Future first in '22

I'm sorry you had to witness this. Some Devils fans love trying to turn junk (Butcher, Palmieri, etc.) into high end players without giving up any real value. What would your ask from the Devils look like in a Laine deal? I would start the conversation with Holtz, 2021 1st (likely top 5 pick), Severson.
