Pretty solid 3rd line as well and Galchenyuk, N.Paul and L.Brown are scratched, the Sens bottom 6 is way better than the Jets is.

Probably not a true 1C, and Probably not right away, but I think he has the upside to be a 2C/fringe 1C. Similar to what prime Kyle Turris was in Ottawa; a guy who can give 20-30 goals and 50-60 points, but is probably more of a really high end 2C than a bonafide number 1. Long term it's Tim Stuetzle who is the true number 1 imo, so Norris just needs to be the number 2 guy.

Also whether he's or not he's a true 1C this year doesn't really matter, because A) he's a rookie and B) the team is going to be bad. What's most important is that the organization seems to think he's ready to play a prominent part of this team, in a key offensive role, which is great news.

i just feel like everyone is thinking that stepan or norris are both true 1C right now and that stutzle and batherson will be a star right now. definitely exciting tho. and yes as a leafs fan
