Interesting that you left - "Made the team worse" off your poll considering you did just that.

No no no no no you dont trade 30 goal Nylander for a guy who had 1 good year than had a bad year followed by an injury that made him miss the rest of 2019-2020. That contract is a gable and honestly could become a bad anchor on the Habs

Acquiring the two weakest parts of that TB 3rd line is interesting in optics & substance, now Blake has to carry that line almost by himself which is tough as...

He's not a line carryer

He's a superb complementary player

He alongside the stars would be brilliant

Ilya Mikheyev is the best LW on that roster also

Which speaks to the lack of forward depth lest big 3

This really just makes them older, slower, etc.

What about the Leafs this season? We literally have Thornton playing first line minutes who is washed, a washed Simmonds, and useless Spezza. The Leafs won't be seeing the playoffs this season with the lack of depth we have

Misses playoffs.

I think you're confusing it with this year. Can't see the Leafs making the playoffs

Then move Hyman to the third line and Mikheyev to the second

Highly doubt it. Josh Anderson is the exact type of player that Bergeron has been looking to get for years.

Toronto fans choosing Nylander over Anderson, but I bet they would rather go far in the playoffs than choke in the 1st round

"I have finally acquired the legit power forward who I have been looking for for many years. Now I will trade him for the exact opposite, and with a difference in cap hit that will mean I will have to sell off other parts of my roster."
