but at 3.4M is too much 2-2.5 is better cap hit for him

We do like Juulsen, but he needs to play games and we have people who can and will replace him.

It's not a cause for concern, but he's not going to progress by sitting on the bench

Look at his advanced stats. The only reason someone would say he's overpaid is because he gets bottom 6 minutes 5V5, but he's definitely worth that money for his special teams.

For the role that he provides the team, he's worth it. Of course it would be better if he made less, but you could say that about every single player in the league.

Realistically he was our 8th or 9th best defender. Everyone on the current squad is better than him. Him and Fleury go toe and toe
