well dont take neal without a heck of a good haul to do so.

I think Kane may opt out of the season to enhance the bankruptcy case not get out of the deal all together. Speculation on my part.

He can't opt out unless they let him. opt out deadline was Dec 24.

My understanding is he needs to break the contract or they will just garnish his wages. He is 28 Million in debt and has 35 Million in contract left. 10 million in homes in that debt, he could pay it all off if he sold them he'd just be left with nothing at the end.

Theres a 0.0% chance that the league won’t let him opt out if he’s citing health concerns about his newborn son.

Why would a man who is $25M+ in debt try to break his source of income?

He's trying to walk away from the debt. if he has enough money to pay for it all he can't do that.

less financial requirements to pay debt owed. If he doesnt have income the ruling should be more in his favor because he cant pay as much on a regular basis.

    Zmach beat me to it.

No one is taking Neal for free, but if Oilers wanted to take back Jones then I'm sure Wilson Is listening. Not saying one for one deal just saying centered on those players. I'm guessing that will be a no from Holland though.

yea but he literally opted out of his source of income I doubt courts would rule in his favour when he purposefully is rejecting money.
