Description

Yandle has been open about always wanting to play back home in Boston and oh look the Bruins need a left-handed defenseman. I understand that they want to test the youth but how often does a player of this caliber land in your lap? Yandle may be old but he never gets hurt and his offense is consistent. The cost to add him will be next to nothing too because anything is better to Florida than having a respected veteran sitting in the press box getting upset while you pay him a ton of money. That includes retaining salary, taking back John Moore, and giving up a draft pick.

Yandle is awesome offensively, yes. However, he is absolutely atrocious defensively. He has to be sheltered 5v5 due to his liabilities with Florida. If we’re going out to get a defenseman, I’m waiting til the deadline (getting an expiring rental) and/or waiting til the offseason to get an even better dman that can probably fill the need of what this staff is looking for.

I hope yandle refuses any deals and chills for the year so they have to buy him out, not a fan of what panthers are doing.

Once you waive a NMC, the new team holds the option of whether to honor it or not. The B's would simply say no.

That is true. It they won’t honor it he can choose not to waive. But yes there is a work around.
