Yandle

Created by: Marcsnack
Team: 2020-21 Boston Bruins
Initial Creation Date: Jan. 13, 2021
Published: Jan. 13, 2021
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Although he has a NMC, I think Yandle considers waiving for Boston since he is from there.
I do think Boston are interested in picking up Yandle, especially after being linked to OEL in the summer and after losing Krug/Chara.
The only concern I have for Boston would be the expansion draft. If you do not get Yandle to agree to waive his NMC for Seattle, you will be forced to either expose a solid dman (probably Grzelcyk) or a good forward (DeBrusk, Kase). I am not sure if Boston is willing to take that risk, but it could be something to look out for.

I wonder if, given their 800 dmen that Florida currently has (Which is part of the reason why Yandle is in this predicament anyway), they'd prefer to take on a forward and a pick instead? Got any $2.5-$3.5 mil forwards that you have no use for?

Even with the 800 they don’t have three solid right side ones when Gudas is honestly the second best

Oh I agree. Ideally, the Panthers would want to take a forward back. The only one that Boston would maybe want to send over that could maybe make sense with the cap is Bjork. The Moore contract just seems to make sense when swapping for Yandle.

Yeah, the Stralman signing was pretty dumb.

It's weird...for a team that has been mediocre for so long, it's pretty surprising that their prospect pool is so thin.

Tampa Bay didn’t resign him for a reason it wasn’t a money issue
