McDavid wins the Art Ross in a walk but gets snubbed by Hart voters in favour of MacKinnon.

Okay. Would 60 points be a breakout season for a number one overall pick in normal times? That seems like a super low bar for a breakout.

Based on his rookie year, I think 60 points could be realistic for a 19 year old.

Is it enough though? I've never seen a team win the Cup with such weakness at the center position. Have you?

Which year?

Toews / Sharp were a pretty strong 1-2 punch - better than anything Vegas has for sure.

2010
Toews: 22, 7-22-29
Sharp: 22, 11-11-22

2013:
Sharp: 23, 10-6-16
Toews: 23, 3-11-14

2015:
Toews: 23, 10-11-21
Richards: 23, 3-11-14

Also, prime-Keith was better than Pietrangelo is today and Kane was a greater offensive force than anything Vegas has.
