Edmonton is more likely to finish 6th than 1st. They are not remotely as good as some seem to think they are.

I have to agree that Edmonton is a long shot to win the division, although places 1-6 will be extremely close.

I think TO and Calgary will have a sizable lead over the rest.

My thought process is that I think the Canadian division is gonna be an absolute score fest, almost no defense. Edmonton has Drai and McDavid, and along with the quality depth they added this offseason I think they’ve got a good shot at winning the division. Toronto could also definitely win it though, and I don’t think Edmonton’s team is built for the playoffs, but I think they’ll have success in the regular season

It's honestly gonna be SO close in my opinion, the only way I would be shocked is if Ottawa won the division, everyone else has a fair shot. I also agree the games in the North Division will be more high scoring than usual.
