Detroit declines. We're not giving up prospects or futures and we have no place for Miller, as there is already a jogjam in RHD as it is.

Detroit declines. They are rebuilding a 3rd and a good prospect for Miller is way too much. Plus he'd be behind Hronek, Seider and Stecher.

Both of this is correct, no chance wings do this

Why post a trade and then delete it? just ride it out man
I think BUF would make this deal, but Okposo is basically taking up space and making money, so I dont FLA does it. Yandle is still putting up points and playing big minutes. Plus Acciari is coming off a 20 G season. Mittlestat and a 2nd alone might be a good deal, but Okposo is an albatross

Buffalo would easily make this deal as it massively favors them. Okposo is a major cap dump, Mittelstadt is lent worth too much as he hasn’t shown anything at the NHL for his draft slot, and a second rounder. Yandle is still a good PP QB and Acciari is a sound 2 way player. I’d be curious to see what the Detroit trade was.

The Detroit trade was Miller for Rasmussen and a pick.
Yandle has been told he won't see the ice anymore in Florida so he is really not any value to a trade at this point. Okposo would at least serve as a depth forward and veteran leader on too big a contract like he does in Buffalo.

Remove Yandle and Acciari I think the value would be close.
But what do I know, I thought the Sabres would be much better last year.
I guess losing 6 straight after the TDL did not help.

You can spin Okposo in whatever light you like. The reality is he's extremely overpaid for too long and cant really keep up with today's NHL. Nobody is trading for him unless you add a bunch of sweetners
