The kids got everything, confidence skill shot speed agility smarts passing...he would do well even if he looked bad.

He isnt ready yet, yeah he looked great against some other 18-20 year olds but he isnt ready for the NHL yet. Ducks cannot afford to rush him they need to make sure he is 100% ready before he plays

Could not disagree with you more. What does ANA gain by putting Zegras in right away? They lose nothing by waiting and are avoiding a potential Middlestat scenario by making sure he's ready, theres no reason to even consider putting him in right now to be honest. Eakins and Murray 100% made the right call no questions asked

Comtois is on the Taxi Squad but Lundestrom made it. Just sub Milano in for Comtois here

TZ and JD in the AHL was the right call.

Zegras had one practice. Yes, this kid is extremely talented and we're all excited to see him play but placing him in the lineup, right now, would mean forcing a veteran to lose their spot. That might come to pass in the near future but they weren't going to make that decision after just one practice. And it's not like he's banished to the Gulls for the entirety of the season. This team is still evaluating, they've had all of two weeks of camp and no preseason. And for the record, I wanted him in the lineup for tomorrow's game but I understand why he isn't. I'm also extremely curious to see if Lundestrom is indeed better as a winger than as a center because he has left a lot to be desired in his brief NHL experience.

Also I think we can look at our taxi squad as just an extended list of scratches. I'm sure we'll see plenty of swapping of Comtois, Lundestrom, Jones and Terry.
