I think the best thing to do now is not over react. It's one game.
Yeah the bottom 6 has some issues but we haven't seen what it really looks like yet. They got 2 guys out so that means they got two guys who shouldn't be there in.

I thought the whole defense played horrible game 1. Guys just out of position, over skating not doing what needs to be done.
The one bright spot was Matheson cross checking a flyer and laying down some ground rules that, that **** won't be tolerated. He took a penalty and they got a goal off it, but it's worth it.
People will remember his face going first into the boards in a dangerous position before laying another cheap shot. If guys like Ceci and Jankowski can also deliver that kind of play than the future looks good.
But the defense as a whole has to play better. Dumo letting guys behind him, Letang out of position, Matheson chasing guys out of position. It's not practice anymore they got to be where they are suppose to be.
The offense should get better with Kap and the defense with ZAR.
Too early to tell just yet.
