Impossible in that division. He'd need a .95 save percentage to carry this team out of that division and into the playoffs.

in a normal year, maybe they snag a wildcard. but they're pretty clearly the worst team in that division. Especially with Hischer out for a bit. 6th place finish max

Of these five teams: PHI, PIT, WSH, BOS, NYI, one has to miss playoffs. If NJ gets in that means 2 of those miss. Which of those 2 are missing?? Not to mention the easiest games NJ has this year are against a much improved Sabres team and an up and coming NYR. I can't see NJ getting anything but last. Maybe they'll surprise a bit and be ahead of NYR or BUF but can't see it.
