1.
PIT
  1. Copp, Andrew
  2. Roslovic, Jack [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
I tried Roslovic for MP and a 2nd the other day and everyone (both pens fans and non pens fans) said it wasn’t enough for MP. I get this creates holes on Jets bottom 6 but this is what I came up with considering MP is definitely worth significantly more than roslavic

Jets decline, not trading Roslovic and Copp for another LHD.

Another LHD? Your LHD is beyond thin. MP instantly upgrades this. MP is definitely worth more than Roslavic alone, gonna have to add something significant and pens could use more depth forwards

I think this is fair. I'm not sure Roslovic will be happy coming to PIT and still having another WPG play center over him, but I guess that's a side note more than anything.

The jets are happy with their LD, whether it holds up or not is to be seen. They also are stacked at LD in terms of prospects, and this creates a major log jam. Copp is WPG's best defensive forward, they're not moving him, they need more defensive play from their forwards, not less.

It upgrades it for now, but it also renders prospect like Heinola and Samberg without a slot.

They should acquire a TOP4 LD with a shorter deal to use as a placeholder for these two young ones, not acquire another long-term young one with high cost.

As others have said we have plenty of LHD prospects and the current depth pieces are good enough, no point blocking Heinola, Samberg and maybe Niku with another LHD, also we're losing another center option in Copp, this is an easy no for the Jets.

at least he has a chance to break the top 6 in PIT though over a guy like Kapanen if he proves himself.

if Kap makes some boneheaded decisions or misses on enough breakaways or etc. and Roslovic looks really good on the third line it could easily happen

I think he’ll be 50+ point pace. He’ll work with Sid

I think he has that potential but I also think he has the potential to not. He wasn't playing with any slouches in Matthews or Tavares when he got into our top 6 and never did all that much with it. I think it could easily go either way to be quite honest.

Well based on this game there's no need to move MP.

    Matheson's terrible.

Are you kidding me... Matheson/Marino has looked incredibly solid. People love to hate Matheson cause of his past. Watch the game he’s been very good

I mean when he got ice time with Matthews in 18/19 before Nylander came back he put up a 60+ pace... issue was he’s been moved around the lineup so much. If he can get into a solid role in Pits top 6 he’ll be good

I disagree. I think Matheson has been on the ice every time Flyers have scored.

Either that or in the box.

When Pens are on the puck, then they have played well.

Jets would accept they need a top 4 LHD. Copp and Roslovic are excess players, 1 of Copp and Lowry will be gone after this season.

I don't see them moving MP.
Not in this season. It's too short and the window till TDL is too small to have any real sample size of what you got.
You get what 30 games or something this season till TDL. I don't see that happening.
