Why would Chiarot fight there? Montreal was dominating play and him fighting only boost's Vancouver's energy, and on top of that, we lost our 1LD. What an idiotic decision by him.

I’d assume that it was something said by either himself or Miller that started it. And he clearly is fine with fighting, since he’s tied for 2nd in the NHL in fights this year.

I think Phil might be listening to the crazy fans and media too much. Obviously we all know that you don’t need to be scoring goals to be at your best, but it sure looked like it felt good to finally put one on the board.

Canadiens announce Ben Chiarot is heading back to Montreal to be evaluated for his injury. Safe to assume he is therefore out for the rest of the road trip at the very least.

I hate it when it’s the other team’s regional broadcast team that is doing the national broadcast. Someone on Sportsnet said that Evans is scratched because Byron is better at faceoffs than him. Like come on. That’s a simple stat that you can look up in 10 seconds. The requirements for becoming a broadcaster are really low now I guess.

the slash was the penalty and gallagher saw that so he got back at andersson for holding onto him and making gallagher almost fall over at a bad angle, im not mad at it.

If a penalty hadn’t been called on that slash, there’s no doubt it would have been called when he interfered with Andersson after the fact. And the habs really need to stay out of the box, especially with a struggling PK and discipline issues.

I'm afraid that you're right, and it's unfortunate. He's always making masterclass trades with what he has. I'm repeating myself, but the problem is the management. We should have sucked for a few more years. You can't expect a single #3 overall pick to be enough to carry the team moving forward. I'm getting tired of these botched rebuilds.
