And Jesse Ylönen has his first AHL goal... scored against Vasili Demchenko.

Just did the math and 49.12% of Montreal's goals are against Vancouver.

No wonder we can't score on other teams

I'm usually a loyal man, but if we lose tonight and Kotkaniemi remains the least used center, I'm may consider bandwagoning. I'd become a die-hard Hurricanes fan.

Well I have the Avs and Leafs as 2-3 and I’m also kind of a Vegas, Tampa fan plus I like to bandwagon certain players too

I'm kidding but I'm sick of Julien fr. He's made for a team like Dallas or Nashville, not the Habs

The last time KK played less than Evans (both 5-on-5 and total TOI) was 17 days ago.

McNiven has been called up to the taxi-squad today, and Lindgren sent down. Likely means that Charlie isn’t able to be an emergency option tonight for whatever reason.

What on earth was Kulak doing there? And why is he even in the lineup?

Actually, never mind. He’s obviously in the lineup in the hopes that Dan Robertson can recreate his infamous “KULAK!” call.

Montréal got lucky in the first, both in what penalties were called, and the bounce on the goal. Hopefully they can turn it around in the 2nd and start creating better chances.

On this day in 2020 (february 29, but you know), Phil Danault would score his latest goal against a goaltender. It's been a year. Playoffs included.

Eesh. It doesn’t really matter much for the team’s sake, but I’m sure that’s weighing on him. Hopefully he can score one and help his confidence soon.

Kevin Lynch has terminated his contract to be closer to his family in the States. He’s been a good player for Laval, and I wish him the best in the future.

On the bright side, this will give Hillis and Khisamutdinov a bigger opportunity to get into the lineup more. And it will be even better for Hillis when/if Myšák returns to the AHL.

So after this, Laval is essentially rotating through 16 forwards and 3 goalies, in addition to having set-in-stone top 6 defensemen. Although now that Guhle and Fairbrother are back in the WHL, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Jacob LeGuerrier get in a game or two on the back end.

Watching the habs TSN broadcast, and they’re talking about potentially putting Weber with Romanov and how that might help Weber and the team.

Although they seem to be forgetting to think of what happens with the guy they’re thinking about moving off of Weber’s pairing. All we’ve seen from Chiarot is that he and Weber have great chemistry, and whenever he’s played with anyone else, it hasn’t worked. Plus there’s the fact that Edmundson and Romanov are the only LHD that can play on the right side, so you’d have to break up Petry’s pairing too.
