And there it is. Great game by the habs. Edmundson was great tonight, as was the 2nd PP unit (obviously), and the habs look like themselves again.

Umm, what? Super weird. I guess they thought he wasn’t helping Carey enough?

They probably wanted to send a message to Carey while also hoping a new goalie coach helps him regain form. Also Alex Burrows powerplay seems to work which is good

Not a good source but its @PuckAuthority1 on twitter

Andrew Zadarnowski quote tweeted it, so that's why I believe there's some truth to it.

Well yes EOTP writer Zadarnowski does have a lot of credibility to me at least

In Arizona, Sean Burke actually helped Devan Dubnyk a lot after his short tenure in MTL (Hamilton). Mike Smith was also a top goalie at the time. I'm excited to see what happens with Price going forward.

What would you guys think of Bergevin bringing in Patrick Roy as a goalie consultant/coach under Burke? Babcock, to me, is still a brilliant hockey and coaching mind. He’d be a great add as far as I’m concerned.

And the curse continues.

Well at least the good news for the habs is that there’s no 3-on-3 OT in the playoffs, and there’s also no Reverse Retro jerseys in the playoffs.

This teams needs to win or regulation or the game is lost. Ben Chiarot in overtime doesn't work and never has and Paul Byron is overused, but that's a lesser problem. Anderson's return will be welcomed.

On a brighter note, Allen, Kotkaniemi and Drouin have played some good hockey.

Agree about Chiarot. I don’t agree about Byron. It makes sense to have your fastest skater on the ice in OT. He’s also a better offensive player than Lehkonen/Evans, and Gallagher/Perry aren’t built for OT. Every other forward got OT ice time as well.

Byron is fast, but his ability to use his speed to create offensive chances has taken a hit. Plays die on his stick more often than it should. Like I said, it's a minor problem that will likely be fixed once Anderson comes back.

So for some reason, I’m unable to include a tweet, but Canucks defenseman Guillaume Brisebois has been loaned to Laval. Which is good for the team, but bad news for Jacob LeGuerrier.

As for the Tweets, I noticed that it doesn't seem to work on a mobile device, at least for me.

Not sure I like bringing over Brisebois as he takes away from our younger players getting game time and it benefits Vancouver.

It shouldn’t be a problem. If there’s even one injury on D in the habs organization, he’s a better option than Nathanael Halbert and Tobie Paquette-Bisson (since LeGuerrier will likely be heading back to Ontario soon).
Plus it’s not like Brisebois needs to play.

I'd much rather have any single player on an AHL contract play over Brisebois as there's a slight chance they could get an NHL contract with Montreal. Don't like benefitting other teams.
