Frolík has been sent to Laval. It’ll be good for him to get some games in, since he hasn’t played in 345 days. He’ll likely get called back up to the taxi-squad when Montréal starts back up on Saturday.

Assuming that Byron plays every game, sending him to the taxi-squad will accrue $389,224 for the rest of the year.

I wouldn’t exactly compare Markov to Gretzky or Howe NHL career wise but it does have the same feeling “the Old superstar/Old good player with a young sensation”

Gianni Fairbrother is making his AHL debut tonight.

Fingers crossed that Hillis gets in the lineup tonight. Otherwise, Vejdemo, Dauphin, Lynch, and Baddock will likely return to the lineup.

Good news, hopefully it earns Fairbrother a NHL contract (his rights expire this year)

Ryan Poehling has a goal and an assist tonight. Unfortunately, his assist was on a Belleville goal.

The habs Twitter account says that Byron’s back in the lineup, even though he played last game. Tatar was the healthy scratch.

They just mean he was on the taxi squad in the off weak so they called him back up and he is in the lineup now

Lol, I know. Although they didn’t do this for every single game Perry played, since he’s been on the taxi-squad on every off-day this year. It’s probably just the Twitter person forgetting who was in the lineup, since it’s been a week.

The habs have been really unlucky tonight, with the 2 weak calls on Mete and the fact that if Matthews scored 1 second later we wouldn’t be down by 2.

That said, the special teams need to be better.

Don't think we will ever see Price finish a game above a SV% .900 again

So since Perry is in the lineup tonight, he’s played his 10th game of the season and is now waiver eligible. It makes our potential cap space a bit smaller, but it doesn’t really make much difference in the end.

He’s also 3 games away from being able to meet the expansion draft exposure requirements if he’s signed to an extension.

i would like to thank you for positively jinxing the Habs. Yes I'm aware I'm probably badly jinxing them right now.
