Kevin Lynch has terminated his contract to be closer to his family in the States. He’s been a good player for Laval, and I wish him the best in the future.

On the bright side, this will give Hillis and Khisamutdinov a bigger opportunity to get into the lineup more. And it will be even better for Hillis when/if Myšák returns to the AHL.

So after this, Laval is essentially rotating through 16 forwards and 3 goalies, in addition to having set-in-stone top 6 defensemen. Although now that Guhle and Fairbrother are back in the WHL, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Jacob LeGuerrier get in a game or two on the back end.

Watching the habs TSN broadcast, and they’re talking about potentially putting Weber with Romanov and how that might help Weber and the team.

Although they seem to be forgetting to think of what happens with the guy they’re thinking about moving off of Weber’s pairing. All we’ve seen from Chiarot is that he and Weber have great chemistry, and whenever he’s played with anyone else, it hasn’t worked. Plus there’s the fact that Edmundson and Romanov are the only LHD that can play on the right side, so you’d have to break up Petry’s pairing too.
