Great another possible leg injury for Price

Looks like he overextended his right knee. Doesn't look great either way

Well Jake Allen’s comments don’t seem to support my idea that Price’s injury is just for Wednesday night. grimace

Also, KK on RW is interesting... Weird considering the fact that that Suzuki is much worse at faceoffs and is right handed, whereas KK already has trouble with not being able to keep the puck well because it’s too far away from his body, and playing on his off wing does not seem conducive for him being able to keep/move the puck well whatsoever. There’s a reason he’s not on the right side of the PP despite his great one-timer.

Edit: I forgot to include the full lines:
Tatar - Danault - Kotkaniemi
Drouin - Staal - Toffoli
Perry - Suzuki - Anderson
Byron - Evans - Lehkonen

Why wouldn't Perry play RW and KK LW?

Kotkaniemi prefers RW because he played it in Finland, Perry is more versatile

I’m still not sure that’s such a good idea. In Europe it would’ve worked well because he had more room where he could move the puck. However in North America with the boards closer in, I’m not sure how well he’ll be able to keep the puck while going into the offensive zone on the right side considering how far out he holds the puck from his body.

So Jacob LeGuerrier makes his AHL debut tonight for Laval after being a healthy scratch for the first 23 games.

Didn't realize it's his first game. I'll keep a close eye on him

As expected Gallagher has been placed on LTIR. Which is weird, considering the fact that they’re currently over the cap and it’s a game day so they can’t get creative with paper moves.

Weber’s worse. I swear his defensive style is just to stand still and cross-check people. Edmundson can at least skate and move the puck.

Are you watching the same Edmundson as me? I don't think he does anything well. He's legit a pylon. Atleast Weber can play physical

1.5 periods into his AHL career and Cole Caufield has an assist and a power play goal.

Looks like Otto Leskinen will be playing tonight. He's training on a pair with Romanov.

I love that we’re trying out Leskinen, but the fact that Edmundson - Weber are still together is infuriating.

The problem is we don’t have a good Weber partner but the rest of our D has many multiple good pairs, and we aren’t scratching Weber

So I’m watching a replay of the Laval game, and Dauphin scored, but the Marlies’ commentators completely butchered his name and called him “Law-rent Daw-fin”. This is disgusting. Does everyone not know that it’s mandatory to learn French in school in Canada? And if you’re commentators you’d at least have some integrity to actually find out how to pronounce people’s names. I shudder to think about how they would pronounce Veilleux.
