Kulak-Petry
Romanov-Weber
Anybody-Merrill

That should be the lines, but Dom is too chicken **** to make any changes

He can keep Chiarot and Weber but man they got to play less. Weber just cant be on the PP anymore. Gustaffsons skating is already showing why he and petry need to be there. Weber and Chiarot can still play pk.

Nawh. Chiarot is too slow for Weber. We need somebody with more speed. If one gets burned, the other isn't fast enough to erase that mistake.

Thank god Bergevins acquisitions are paying off because the team he's built is terrible

I'd say the team he built is great but how they drafted/developed is what's holding them down

So if Drouin, Tatar, and Byron are still out on Monday, the habs will be forced to play with 8 defensemen. Although they still could swap Caufield/Lindgren for Evans/Lindgren if they wanted to. If the 3 forwards are out, I’d expect Gustafsson to play forward, and Kulak to be the 7th D.

We’re pretty much tanking at this point, I can’t see Ducharme staying unless he gets results in the playoffs if we make it there, MB could also be in danger but I’d argue he’s done pretty much his best

One of the main problems with this team is the lack of creativity from the defensemen. Star players like McDavid, Stone, Panarin score a lot because they benefit from the good offensive plays of Barrie, Theodore and Fox. Bar Jeff Petry, no one is really creative when it comes to offense. There's only so much you can do as a forward when all you get are long, weak passes from stay-at-home defensemen.

Tatar & Byron were skating with the extras today, so that’s not good news for them. Although Kulak was also out there, so I’d expect that Drouin will take Tatar’s spot in the lineup.

I’m skeptical about that. That guy’s an idiot, plus Caufield (and Lindgren) were skating with the extras today, while Evans was not. If he were playing you’d think that they’d at least want to give Primeau and Evans some ice time today.

Québec's Premier just retweeted it. I swear if Marinaro's lying...

If he's lying he will have lost most of his credibility if he hasn't already lost it

Edit: and will go straight to muted accounts on my Twitter

I guess there is the possibility that one of the players got injured on Saturday and isn’t well enough to even skate in addition to Drouin still being sick, but I’d think that is very unlikely.

Or maybe Ducharme gave Primeau and Evans the day off for no reason other than to confuse people as to who is going to play.

What the actual f*ck?!?!? He better have a nagging injury or something, because while I’m excited that Caufield is getting in the lineup, taking Romanov out is unwarranted and pretty ridiculous.

I fully agree, i guess Ducharme was happy with his D's missing Romanov for some reason

Bergevin and Ducharme are really trying to take all of the mobility out of the d-core

Well since Romanov can’t play in the NHL for the next 2.5 weeks, he might as well play some games for Laval until then. (Assuming he’s 100% healthy)

Drouin has taken an indefinite leave of absence for personal reasons, he was placed on LTIR so cap shouldn't be a problem now

May he take the time he needs. It was clear that something was wrong and I wish him the best. Hopefully he returns at 100% for the playoffs.

Ugh. I really hope that Jo and his family are all ok.

If the LTIR isn’t retroactive, that means that he won’t be back until May 22nd at the soonest (Likely game 1-3 of the first round). Which means that Caufield will likely play every game for the rest of the season.

You seem to be a Habs cap expert, what about Romy and Evans?
