Here's 3 Observations:

1. Sid's goal was ridiculous! Probably only a handful of NHL'ers that can make that play.
2. Nolan Patrick scores! Good for him! Long road back.
3. Could've/should've taken Erik Gustafsson in my fantasy draft last night! Oh well. Maybe I can scoop him up on waivers!

Was hoping Leafs would waive Dell today. Devils need a backup desperately. Any better options? LMK

The Flyers have half as many power play goals in one period as they did in the entire playoffs.

Yup. If Farabee and Patrick break out the Flyers are dangerous.

What I want is Konecny, Giroux and Provorov to pick it up and earn me some fantasy points and price and Vasy to have solid games so my goalie stats are high, Matthews can do his thing and I should be decently set for today

Last summer, everyone was a sociologist. Now, everyone's an epidemiologist, too.

Hilarious that Simmonds needs to yell at his own bench after getting in a fight he created.

How is thanking frontline workers saying you’re an epidemiologist?

I'm not referring to any specific comments. Obviously, we are all in debt to frontline workers.

what i've noticed in the leaf game Andersen is not on his game, the offence is good, not great. same with the D. Price made 2 really good saves in the first period that could have been 2 goals against any other goalie (Matthews-Marner & Thorntons shot from left wing)

Yes, even though the virus is SLIGHTLY overhyped. (I don't say that to start a fight, so please respond nicely if you want to counter this) All for frontlines, I have a friend who is a nurse and several family friends that are frontline workers.

Lucky break for Toronto, but if their powerplay can do that all season I'll be thrilled.

Pittsburgh's 3rd line was fantastic. Crosby's goal was phenomenal. Everyone else, average or terrible.

Was Jarry really bad, or was it just terrible defense?

Three Things after 2nd period in Toronto
1. Willie is awesome, Those goals are saying the analysts have no idea what they are talking about, when they say he's a 20 goal scorer and 31 last year was just a lucky year and nothing else. His goals are goal scorers goals.
2. I like the Tavares line better than the Matthews line, Tavares line is harder on the puck and I actually get more involved in yelling at the TV when they are on the ice.
3. Andy needs to pick it up this season, his first month is always a rough month (but better now then at the end of the season) to be a top 10 top 5 goalie he needs to be more consistent out of the gate (some of that rests on the D though

Bonus!!!
I was cheering hard when Simmonds drop them, not afraid, rough and gritty, great addition so far

let hope that this doesn't go south down the year

The Leafs have won the game, and therefore have won the Stanley Cup.

Great season, everyone. Looking forward to next year.

Ty Smith has made Devils roster and will make NHL debut tomorrow night vs. BOS. Nice.
