That's not enough for Arvidsson. I get that Pettersson is a big piece from PIT's perspective, but he really has no value to NSH. They don't have the room or a need for him in the lineup this year, and the Preds already have four dmen they'll want to protect in expansion.

But then you're downgrading from Ekholm to Pettersson and still need to protect four defensemen in expansion. Unless the mystery replacement for Arvidsson is miles better than Arvi, it doesn't make sense to me. I'm not expecting the 1st from PIT to be a lottery pick or anything, and Légaré doesn't excite me much.
