Lines that wont make Keefe look high

Created by: KeepUps15

Initial Creation Date: Jan. 14, 2021
Published: Jan. 14, 2021
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Sorry to break the chemistry but some pairing looked horrible. Muzzin looked gassed as the game went on because he was covering for Holl so much. Also why was Hyman even on the third line? I think Robetson should have a shot on the second line as I think he can provide a lot of energy and work. Also I think Muzzin needs a better partner then Holl, Lehtonen or Dermott.

Yeah Holl was garbage last night. 22 mins played. An assist. Plus 1. 2 blocks. 0 giveaways. Time to get rid of this plug. As the 4th d man he should be doing way more...

Not sure what game you were watching, but Holl was covering for Muzz most of the night.

Didn't watch the game, but Holl seemed like Toronto's best defenceman that game lol.

I liked Brodie as well. He's going to be really solid. Really all the defenceman looked good apart from Bogosian.

Yes and no. De Haan and Murphy both looked the best on D and Mitchell looked pretty good given it was his first NHL game.

Hawks aren't doing this. As I've said many times to any proposed Murphy for Holl trade, Murphy is a good bit better then Holl and Hawks shouldn't trade them for a 2nd round pick as Holl doesn't have much value to the Hawks during a rebuild.

And that game could’ve been a lot worse if Malcolm Subban didn’t make some nice saves too.
I mean that paddle of the stick save on Killorn was unbelievable

True, but there were definitely 2 softies he gave up as well.

Hawks just don't have the firepower up front right now to play any sort of a possession game to slow down the lightning when they started clicking 10 minutes into the game. Friday is going to be another brutal spectating experience for Hawks fans.

Hate to say this to you but most of the season is going to be.

Yes, it's going to a be brutal season reminiscent of the days before Kane and Toews

As a lightning fan I remember days like that too. there was a reason we got Stamkos and Hedman in back to back years

If we get Owen Power, who's been playing with the Chicago Steel, I'm okay with a bad year

yea I can tell you didn't watch the game and you just looked at the statistics

no. There was so many turnovers he created and every time Montreal had the puck in the leafs zone while Holl was on the ice, they would get endless point shots. Letting another team kill you with shots is not "covering"

you probably should have. Andersen was playing good when Holl was on the ice for some reason

Holl isn't suppose to be much value in this trade. Just suppose to be for cap so that this trade can work. theres also SDA who has middle 6 potential. We can mix the trade up and add more quality pieces if you like

Right, which especially with retention, Murphy would be a 1st and SDA; again Holl only being a dump as far as the Hawks are concerned if they can't flip him for 3rd rounder or so.
