I think barabanov didn't get the chance that Mikheyev get last year. Maybe wait after 10 games to look what he can do. Also, Mikheyev need more icetime. He showed nice things with Tavares last year.

I'm pretty sure Bogosian's game last night opens the door for Lehtonen sometime soon (Bogo barely played in 3rd), and Barabanov seemed fine in limited minutes. It's not like the 4th line was a liability.

Also, both players were signed in Spring 2020, well before planning for this season began (will end up being the weirdest NHL season). Better to acquire decent no-risk assets then let them go somewhere else and possibly make an impact.

The Leafs are hoping these KHL forwards turn out well enough since they don't have the cap space to acquire real NHL players. Now that Nylander's value is rising, he will be easier to trade at the deadline

If anyone should be questioned about watching the game it's the guy who says Bogosian should be moved up after being without a doubt the worst player on the ice in the entire game. Yeah I watched the game and he didn't do anything I didn't like but only played 5 minutes.

He did not stop rushes, a bad pinch caused the 2nd Anderson goal. He tipped in the first goal and took 2 stupid penalties because he's slow. He didn't even hit anyone, just a ****ty pylon.
