I would take Vancouver’s D over Toronto’s D easily.

Fair enough, I always forget about Myers and the Schmidt trade. Great point.

Hellebuyck should for sure but if Brossoit plays like last year in a compact season the Jets will have a problem. I think Markstrom and Rittich are stronger night in and night out than Hellebuyck and Brossoit

I think Leafs D and Leafs F Depth should be a bit higher. Honestly all of the top 4 D teams there are a crap shoot. Holtby over Andersen is also questionable

Holtby and Demko over Andersen and Campbell is not questionable I don't think. D was the toughest one to do and depth forwards are a bit of a mess either way cause they can change so often. Good points.

I don’t agree with a lot of this, but I can also understand some of them. The goaltending tandems make sense, I personally think CGY goaltending is overrated but I don’t hate them at 2. Toronto’s goaltending is overrated, I mean their D is too. If you don’t put them at 1 for all categories leafs fans will cry, the majority of them live in their own little fantasy world. Now that I have looked it over, I don’t mind most of the choices. The only change I can point out is swapping MTL and CGY on top 6 defence.

Torontos goaltending is way better than the Jets, and Canucks but currently is tied Flames

Jets dont have a good backup and Hellyebuck is gonna be worked to death again, Holtby is past his prime and Demko had a good playoffs but his regular season numbers are below average, Markstrom and Freddie are the same except Freddie had higher numbers not counting the 2019-2020 season on a worse Dcore at the time, and Campbell and Rittich are also arount the same, I would go with the following rank

1. Habs
2. Leafs
2. Flames (tied)
3. Canucks
4. Jets
5. Oilers
6. Senators

Wings are correct but for center depth no. Leafs have 2 of the best centers in the NHL in Matthews and Tavares as there top 6, got Kerfoot who is a good 2-way guy and got extra guys in Spezza, Thorton, and others.

For Dcore tough rn to say who ranks where cause rn all looked bad cause they have not found there footing yet

Why is the Oilers goaltending ranked so low? Based on last year's stats they should be mid-pack.

Price (.909) + Allen (.924) = .9165
Markstrom (.918) + Rittich (.907) = .9125
Koskinen (.917) + Smith (.902) = .9095
Hellebuyck (.922) + Brossoit (.895) = .9085
Andersen (.909) + Campbell (.904) = .9065
Murray (.899) + Hogberg (.904) = .9015
Demko (.905) + Holtby (.897) = .901

Based off the one stat sure, I think Smith regresses again and I think that Tippett is poor at managing that, he has a hard on for Smith and the Oilers suffer because of it. Based on your stat provided Jake Allen is the best goalie in the division which makes zero sense.

Why is the Oilers forward depth ranked so low? Here is each team's top-9 based on last year's scoring rates (points per game):

Armia: 0.52
Lehkonen: 0.39
Byron: 0.34

Ottawa: 4.42 total
Dadonov: 0.68 P/GP
Tkachuk: 0.62
Brown: 0.61
Tierney: 0.52
Batherson: 0.43
Galchenyuk: 0.41
Anisimov: 0.41
White: 0.38
Paul: 0.36

Top-3 (top-end talent):
Edmonton: 4.03
Toronto: 3.23
Winnipeg: 2.99
Vancouver: 2.80
Calgary: 2.48
Montreal: 2.29
Ottawa: 1.91

Middle-6 (forward depth):
Edmonton: 3.66
Toronto: 3.49

It does when you remember the defense corps that played in front of him every night last year. Speaking of regression...
