I agree completely, I though Liljegren looked really good in the blue and white game but I think the plan is to ride him in the AHL and then give him full time work next season.

I like these lines, but IMO they wouldn't shake up the whole lineup if they weren't prepared to give that checking line a solid chance.

When there is an ahl for sure. For right now I would much rather see him get the minutes.

It seems very few people actually understand that this kind of maneuvering does not work at present.

It would be foolish to insert Lehtonen into the lineup just to have him on the bottom pair and risk losing Dell to waivers, (very likely), in the process.

Without subtracting Barabonov, (who is waivers exempt), and going with one less forward, this kind of stuff just doesn't skate at the moment.

Barabonov out and Robertson in is a move that would work at present.

People need to stop thinking beyond the left over cap and start thinking about waivers exposure. Do you want Hutchinson as your number three right now? I sure as hell don't!!

Yup I agree. There are several ways to move in players without risking anyone on waivers. Keefe will most likely juggle things around with this starting roster before moving players. It’s one game in and I’m not going to judge Bogo based on that but if he continues through this back to back with this poor play I think you have to risk waivers with him.

I believe Robertson and Lilly in and barabanov out works just off the top of my head.

It won't be Liljegren that goes in. It will be Lehtonen. Of that I have no doubt. It will not be both, Robertson and another player. They don't have the cap space to pull that off at present.

Don’t sleep on liljegren. Keefe may not be willing to throw Dermott on the right with a rookie partner. Liljegren has been great. Has experience and swagger. But honestly if Bogo continues this type of play (not saying he will) even Marincin would be an upgrade.
