The Leafs would be better today, than they were yesterday. I feel as if everyone from the big 4 brings a similar style of play which is pure offence. PLD would provide something that no core forward has which is offence AND defence.

Anderson has won one playoff round. And it was because of Panarin, Duchene, Bobrovsky, etc. Not because your big playoff performer Anderson scored 3 points in 10 games.
