Lol, no. We aren’t interested in moving Byron, and we definitely don’t want Mike Reilly back. We’re giving up the 2 better players in this trade, and we don’t need cap space this season.

Byron has been a cap dump on here for like a year now . Paul is a cheap version of Byron.

Yeah that is the only upside for the Habs is the cap space but not at the cost of Fleury and having to take Reilly back

Nick Paul is nothing like Paul Byron, except they’re both left hand shots.

I wouldn’t trade Paul for Byron or Fleury one for one
I wouldn’t trade Reilly for Byron or Fleury one for one
I certainly wouldn’t trade both

Byron is a declining cap dump
Fleury is a bottom pair RD
Paul is a bottom 6 centre on a friendly contract
Reilly is a bottom pair LD

I don’t know how many times I need to say this, but if the habs don’t want to trade a player, it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks they’re worth. We don’t need the cap space, and Byron is certainly worth the extra $2 million over Paul. And we aren’t touching Mike Reilly under any circumstances.
