No I’m arguing that if I just wanted to see what a team of players looks like there is nothing racist about it and if your worried about someone making an imaginary team just out of curiosity bothers you you’re to sensitive

This is kinda the problem with these posts. Without context or tact, such a thread is apt to breed a negative discussion. It's really nothing to do with sensitivity, it's the aftermath of such an AGM.

The hockey community by and large is still quite conservative in nature; there are users here that believe modern-day racism isn't real. Some believe that certain managerial hires across the NHL are nothing more than virtue signaling. Some users still stand by the same brand of xenophobia that gave Don Cherry a career.

If I could trust the userbase as a whole to have a civilized discussion regarding the matter, I'd be open to it. I like to believe that we have a diverse bunch here at CapFriendly, and that there's much to learn from each other. Everyone's lived a unique life and compassion for each other is the building block of higher society. Everyone has biases and prejudices that would benefit from seeing things from an external point of view. However, it's been noted that these kinds of discussions tend to devolve into those kinds of vile environments. We don't condone racism, homophobia, sexism, ethnic or religious discrimination, or any other forms of hurtful conduct at CapFriendly, and thus discourage the kind of environments that would lead to the development of racist or otherwise hurtful dialogues.

One of my favored esteemed colleagues posted a team, the premise of which was a first forward line of Kempe, Kopitar and I-forget-who-but-his-name-began-with-a-K and got disciplined for titling the construction the KKK Line.

Did he specifically title/mention it as the KKK line though? If he mentioned it then I could see an issue but tbh if you’re just creating lines you’re probably not gonna notice it

No, seriously, he just put "The KKK Line" or "KKK Line" in the title and said nothing in the Team Explanation. Knowing him, I know it was entirely innocent. Christ, two of the three guys aren't even American. (I REALLY wish I could remember the other player.) And he got a warning. So I just want everyone to be careful, because we should all be able to enjoy CapFriendly without extraneous and unnecessary controversy.
