Buffalo Sabres
Im a very optimistic sabres fan and believe that if things go right we will make the playoffs, but I'm not a believer we can win it all this year.

Star Players -
Eichel, Hall, Ollofson, Dahlin
Top 4/6 Players -
Skinner, Staal, Reinhart, Cozens, Tage, Jokiharju, Risto, Ullmark
Bottom 2/Middle 6 -
Montour, Miller, McCabe, Lazar, Okposo, Reider, Eakin, Hutton
Specialist (good at PK) -
Sheahan

Arttu Routsalainen should have made this team I think defiently is a better replacement imo than Sheahan or Reider for now and future. Not sure what number Eakin even wears he seemed invisible the first game vs the caps.

Good Luck to the rest do the Franchises out there!

*I will be continuously editing this to update my thoughts on the sabres.

We lost our opening game for the eleventh straight year and for the eleventh straight year, the sky is falling. I just think all Flames fans need to stop overreacting. Lindholm, Tkachuk and Dube were great. Dube is coming along quite well and looks right at home. Gaudreau Monahan Leivo looked good specifically Gaudreau and Leivo. Backlund Mangi Bennett was great, specifically Bennett who created 2 grade A scoring chances. Luc is still garbage yet Ward feels the need to continue to play him on the Pk and Pp. Andersson looked great as did Tanev. Gio and Hanifin were just there. Not standouts but no mistakes besides Hanifins penalty. Nesterov is trash. Valimaki made some nice plays but was pretty meh and Markstrom was great. Very promising roster.

Where the f*ck did you guys find Justin Holl. He’s awful. Slow, incapable of passing and incapable of operating in the offensive zone. Made some nice defensive plays but he is bad
Nylander looked great
Montreal Canadiens
Josh Anderson was terrific and Suzuki was great too
Winnipeg Jets
Patrik Laine was great
Pittsburgh Penguins
Matheson-Ceci is an elite pair for your opponents
Jarry was awful game 1. Maybe Murray wasn’t the issue.

Holl is fine when with Muzzin for some reason, but he's not good without him. An upgrade would be ideal but really if he's with Muzzin they seem to be a decent shutdown pairing so its not a must-have upgrade.

Yea, that game looked pretty good from the flames, Tkachuk is one of the best players I think in the Canadian division. Monahan is a solid player, I think Lindholm and Gaudreau are better than him. I like Hanifin a bunch think he can grow a lot, Andersson looked pretty great I will defiently agree!

Can I add u as a Flames fan above?

Anderson Had a Bad year Totally agree, and think they stole him kinda, Hopefully Skinner bounces back like Anderson.
Suzuki outplayed Matthews IMO in that game 2bh, so I think that's great for the Canadians!

Laine looked like a monster and played to his 2nd overall draft pick, hopefully they can lock him up long-term so that he doesn't come 2 the east lol

😂 That's a bad pairing agreed.

he's weird. He's more defensive but when away from Muzzin he doesn't look all that great defensively.

Anderson was hardly a "steal" considering they dished out a massive, high risk contract and gave away Domi as well. I also disagree about Suzuki. If Matthews' post shot went in it would be a completely different tune. Matthews was generating all sorts of chances and was once again elite away from the puck. Not to discredit Suzuki, he played great, but he wasn't better than Matthews.

I thought more when they where in the ice together especially in the first 2 periods, Suzuki was ahead of that line and intercepting passes, that play to stop Thornton was a monster play!

He's actually fairly decent regardless of who he plays with but Muzzin definitely gives him a boost.

Everyone felt slow that first game.

You can add me for the Habs, @SevenLeg @Kotkaniemi15 @GMs might also be interested in this

Montreal Canadiens
I think Suzuki showed he is ready for the 1c and Anderson surprised me with his speed and skill, I’m liking the domi trade a lot more, I think Price did good even though the stats don’t exactly reflect it, Romanov looked good, Drouin played good and even cared a bit defensively, i think he’ll do well with Suzuki and Anderson giving us 2 good chemistry lines, Kk and Toffoli looked pretty good together, I feel like Armia would be more well suited for the 4th line since I feel that his style plays better with players like Evans and Lehkonen, Petry looked really good while Edmundson was okay and we played solid in general, that leafs goal that went off the ref really hurt us and will add a reason for people to criticize Drouin but that play wasn’t his fault.

Zaitsev had more points than Matthews and Marner. Yikes, that was a stinker for Toronto. Half the time they were absolutely dominant and the other half they were awful. Brodie was brutal.

@csick other than Draisaitl, McDavid, Matthews I believe that Tkachuk might be the next best player, he's going to terrorize this division clean or dirty

Can I add u?

Stars I think took a hit, Eichel and Matthews both look slower out there rn, you think they just haven't had time to get a groove? Both defiently better than they have played. Eichel started to come back and did well in the third especially tonight.
