Don't think so. Monahan is largely seen league wide as being overrated (defensively a pylon, offensive input the product of those around him).... He's good, but I don't think a first in a weak draft year does it.


Laine excels in his shooting and has time to fix his defensive game. Roslovic is good upon a refresh. Monahan and a 1st wouldn't get laine, and if Laine 1 for 1 doesn't get Dubois; no bite.

Yeah well my boy Jeff Petry is the best defenceman points wise, and my boy Tyler Toffoli is tied for most goals

Also I’m expecting a Dubois to Montreal ( plz no ), Anaheim or Winnipeg today since he is a scratch and that situation is deteriorating fast

He's speculating obviously, but it makes sense if they want a roster player coming back. Can't say I'm surprised if Laine is on the table for Winnipeg.

I also have Petry but goaltending is carrying my team with Vasy, Price and Varlamov, I lead my league in wins, shutouts, GAA, SV%, Hits, Shots and Goals and tied for first in +/-
