Leafs are set just fine. I wouldn’t be obsessed about Pietrangelo not going to Toronto. If anything Leafs could still go after a guy like Josh Manson or Tony DeAngelo at the trade deadline.

I'm actually stunned. The Sens are way better than I thought they'd be and the Leafs are way worse than I thought they'd be... even if the Leafs somehow manage to win this is a very strong showing for the Sens. On paper the Sens D is terrible outside of Chabot.

Manson and Tony D can't hold a candle to Pietrangelo.

Some guy named BCarlo25 told me I can’t be excited about Batherson and Norris and that the Sens will suck

Yes, Freddie should be out by now. They probably don't wanna pull him cause he had a temper tantrum last time.

Josh Brown looks like another Demelo. Zaitsev is terrible but has 2 assists lol. Gudbranson looks pretty decent. Wolanin is a good player but just needs to slow it down, made a few mistakes

I think the Sens forward group is good. The defensive group is still very weak though. Definitely think they should have gone with Drysdale over Sanderson, hope I'm wrong.

Brodie has not looked good today... Freddie letting in every challenging shot and going down too early.

I don’t agree. Sanderson is needed much more than Drysdale. Hope Brannstrom can be that Drysdale offensive guy. But we needed a shutdown guy who can transition the puck and Sanderson fits that profile. If Sanderson was RHD he would’ve went too 3 possibly

Drysdale definitely has a higher ceiling than Sanderson... so much offensive promise.

Not tonight but vs Montreal he was solid. Hes got the tools but I'd like to see him build a bit of chemistry first

Let's see how Pietrangelo and his contract holds up for 7 years. No guarantee Pietranagelo would have signed with the Leafs anyway even at 8.8m
