Officialy its gonna be leo (of course who else) and he is the single worst forward in the league (jack johnson deserves some credit also lol)

So Bellows was sent down and you are certain Leo was activated from the taxi squad? If not, Bellows cpuld have just been "sent down" to accrue cap space for the off day

No andrew gross tweeted that in practice the 1st line rotation was leo jg ross, the 2nd rotation was bellows jg ross. He also tweeted that trotz said there might be a lineup change. Knowing trotz this ones not too hard to figure out lol.

Bellows was actually good on Thursday too that’s the worst part lol. I feel bad for Pageau too, dude is gonna have no help half of the time

Ya bet hes starting to regret signing that extension. But im really pissed about bellows. He does whatever trotz wants him to but somehow its never good enough and im a major bellows fan. Part of me wants him traded so that he could succeed in the nhl, because hes not going to under trotz unfortunately. Idealy we would keep him and ditch trotz but thats a pipedream.

I really want to know trotz reasoning for scratching bellows for komarov. It literally makes no sense

Pageau might be the best 3C in the league, should really be using that as an advantage over the competition, Komarov is a 4th line grinder not a 30-40 point 3rd line winger.

You don't think you're slightly overreacting with all of this? Isles played a great game, one player change won't change the team. Komarov isn't the worst forward in the league.

1. He is the worst forward. 2. Right now its an overreaction but its a trend with trotz its not only going to happen once. If i thought this was a special case for whatever reason youd be right. But i dont see any reason why it wont be like this for the rest of the season.

It’s gotten to the point where I don’t think trotz has plans of ever allowing bellows or wahlstrom to be regulars in the lineup. It takes a blue chip prospect like Dobson and even he got healthy scratched for a year

With great respect and only offering my humble opinion , I think firing Barry Trotz as coach of the NY Islanders at 330pm Eastern Time on January 16th, 2021, would be a slight bit premature.

Hes a great x and o coach granted. But hes sorely lacking in one major aspect, common sense. Im not saying he didnt do a good job so far i just dont see what more he could do that would justify keeping him when hes hurting the team.
